National Corvette Museum – Bowling Green, KY
Who doesn’t appreciate the low, deep roar of an American muscle beauty classic like the Corvette?!

Although the Corvette was introduced in 1953, its looks impressed but its performance didn’t. Fortunately, engineer/race car driver Zora Arkus-Duntov saw its potential and wrote an impassioned plea to Chevrolet Head of R&D Engineering to give the Corvette the performance it needed.

This resulted in the V8 going into the Corvette in 1955, and the rest is history…
In addition to the “basic” museum entry, you can opt for a guided tour and/or an experience in their state-of-the-art Corvette Racing simulators.
You should even visit the bathrooms to see the hand dryers!

As for the rest of the museum, you’ll be treated to a chronological display of virtually every Corvette made since the beginning of the line.
Interesting side note: At one point there was a giant sinkhole under the museum!!! It destroyed several cars, some of which they’ve since restored. This one, they haven’t!
