Cleveland Script Sign at Edgewater Park – Cleveland, OH
Destination Cleveland planted a half dozen big white script signs around town starting in 2016 as a tourism play, and the one at Edgewater Park is the undisputed champion. It sits on a bluff over the beach with Lake Erie out front and the entire downtown skyline lined up behind it. You could not stage a better postcard if you tried, and you don’t have to. Somebody already did it for you, in letters the size of a couch.

The drill is simple: park in the Edgewater lot, walk up to the bluff, take the picture. Go in the morning if you can, with the sun behind you and the skyline lit up across the water. There’s a line on summer weekends, but it moves. Everyone gets their turn, everyone takes the same picture, and every single one of them looks great.

It’s free, it’s open around the clock, and it’s two minutes off the Shoreway. Stop, shoot, move on. Skip it and you’ll spend the rest of your life seeing everyone else’s version on Instagram, knowing yours doesn’t exist.
